I’m Aros Mackey, I am a husband, father of four, two of them married and a grandchild on the way. My wife and I were married in the St. George Temple in 1999 and returned in 2011 to raise our children in the legacy of Dixie.
For the last two decades, I’ve worked behind the scenes in criminal justice, private security, and counter-human trafficking. I’ve developed life-saving technologies, including AO, a ground-based robot for tactical support, and Ops, a real-world CubeSat built for emergency coordination in low Earth orbit.
But now, I’m stepping forward not to gain a title, but to serve this city with clarity, courage, and conviction.
I love this city. I believe in its people. And I know we can protect what makes it special while preparing for a brighter, safer future—together.
